Sunnah mentahnik bayi yang baru lahir: mengunyahkan kurma lalu menyuapkannya ke mulut bayi sambil mendoakan keberkahan
Imam Abu Dawud : 4442حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ ح و حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُؤْتَى بِالصِّبْيَانِ فَيَدْعُو لَهُمْ بِالْبَرَكَةِ زَادَ يُوسُفُ وَيُحَنِّكُهُمْ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ بِالْبَرَكَةِ
Narrated to us [Utsman bin Abu Syaibah], he said: narrated to us [Muhammad bin Fudhail]. (In another chain) Narrated to us [Yusuf bin Musa], he said: narrated to us [Abu Usamah] from [Hisyam bin Urwah] from [Urwah] from ['Aisyah, may Allah be pleased with her], she said: 'Some infants were brought to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and he supplicated for blessings for them.' Yusuf added: 'He performed tahnik for them (chewing food and placing it in the infant’s mouth).' And he did not mention blessings.''
