Rasulullah memiliki beberapa nama: Muhammad, Ahmad, Al-Mahi, Al-Hasyir, dan Al-'Aqib
Imam Tirmidzi : 2766حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْمَخْزُومِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ لِي أَسْمَاءً أَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ وَأَنَا أَحْمَدُ وَأَنَا الْمَاحِي الَّذِي يَمْحُو اللَّهُ بِيَ الْكُفْرَ وَأَنَا الْحَاشِرُ الَّذِي يُحْشَرُ النَّاسُ عَلَى قَدَمِي وَأَنَا الْعَاقِبُ الَّذِي لَيْسَ بَعْدِي نَبِيٌّوَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ
Narrated to us [Sa'id bin Abdurrahman Al Makhzumi] has told us [Sufyan] from [Az Zuhri] from [Muhammad bin Jubair bin Muth'im] from [His father] he said : Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Indeed I have several names, I am Muhammad, Ahmad, Al Mahi with whom Allah erases disbelief, Al Hasyir (gatherer) where people are gathered at my feet, Al 'Aqib (last) with whom there is no Prophet after me." In this case, there is a similar hadith from Hudzaifah. Abu Isa said : This hadith is hasan sahih .
