Kemudian wahyu berhenti turun kepadaku pada masa tertentu
Imam Tirmidzi : 3248حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَسَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ فَتْرَةِ الْوَحْيِ فَقَالَ فِي حَدِيثِهِ بَيْنَمَا أَنَا أَمْشِي سَمِعْتُ صَوْتًا مِنْ السَّمَاءِ فَرَفَعْتُ رَأْسِي فَإِذَا الْمَلَكُ الَّذِي جَاءَنِي بِحِرَاءَ جَالِسٌ عَلَى كُرْسِيٍّ بَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ فَجُثِثْتُ مِنْهُ رُعْبًا فَرَجَعْتُ فَقُلْتُ زَمِّلُونِي زَمِّلُونِي فَدَثَّرُونِي فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ{ يَا أَيُّهَا الْمُدَّثِّرُ قُمْ فَأَنْذِرْ إِلَى قَوْلِهِ وَالرُّجْزَ فَاهْجُرْ }قَبْلَ أَنْ تُفْرَضَ الصَّلَاةُقَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ وَقَدْ رَوَاهُ يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ وَأَبُو سَلَمَةَ اسْمُهُ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ
Narrated to us [‘Abdu bin Humaid], informed us [‘Abdur Razzaq], narrated to us [Ma‘mar] from [Az-Zuhri] from [Abu Salamah] from [Jabir bin ‘Abdullah], who said: “I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, speaking about the interruption of revelation. In his narration, he said: ‘While I was walking, I suddenly heard a voice from the sky. I raised my head, and there was the Angel who had come to me at the Cave of Hira’, sitting upon a chair between the heaven and the earth. I was overcome with fear of him, so I returned home and said, “Cover me! Cover me!” They covered me, and then Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, revealed: *“O you who covers himself [with a garment], arise and warn, and glorify your Lord, and purify your garments, and abandon unclean deeds.”* (Surah Al-Muddaththir: 1–5) This happened before prayer was made obligatory.’” Abu ‘Isa said: “This hadith is *hasan sahih*. It was also narrated by [Yahya bin Abu Kathir] from [Abu Salamah bin ‘Abdur-Rahman] from [Jabir]. And Abu Salamah’s full name is ‘Abdullah.”
