Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam telah bersabda Aku diberi keutamaan atas para nabi dengan enam perkara
Imam Tirmidzi : 1473حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الْمُحَارِبِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا أَسْبَاطُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ التَّيْمِيِّ عَنْ سَيَّارٍ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَعَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ فَضَّلَنِي عَلَى الْأَنْبِيَاءِ أَوْ قَالَ أُمَّتِي عَلَى الْأُمَمِ وَأَحَلَّ لِيَ الْغَنَائِمَوَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ عَلِيٍّ وَأَبِي ذَرٍّ وَعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو وَأَبِي مُوسَى وَابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى حَدِيثُ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ وَسَيَّارٌ هَذَا يُقَالُ لَهُ سَيَّارٌ مَوْلَى بَنِي مُعَاوِيَةَ وَرَوَى عَنْهُ سُلَيْمَانُ التَّيْمِيُّ وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ بَحِيرٍ وَغَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ
Narrated to us [Muhammad bin Ubaid Al Muharibi] said, narrated to us [Asbath bin Muhammad] from [Sulaiman At Taimi] from [Sayyar] from [Abu Umamah] from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, he said: 'Indeed, Allah has favored me over the prophets, or he said: my ummah over other ummahs, and Allah has made spoils lawful for me." He said: 'In this matter, there are similar hadiths from Ali, Abu Dzar, Abdullah bin Amru, Abu Musa, and Ibnu Abbas.' Abu Isa said: 'The hadith of Abu Umamah is hasan sahih. Sayyar is known as Sayyar, the freed slave of Bani Mu'awiyah. Among those who narrated hadiths from him are Sulaiman At Taimi, Abdullah bin Bahir, and many others.'"
