Narrated to us [Ahmad bin Mani'] has told us [Abu Qathan 'Amr bin Al Haitsam Al Baghdadi] has told us [Malik bin Mighwal] from [Thalhah bin Musharrif] he said : I once asked [Ibn Abu Aufa], "Did Rasulullah peace be upon him make a will (regarding his property)?" He answered, "No." Then I asked again, "Then why is a will mandatory? And why does he order people to fulfill it?" He answered, "He has made a will with the Book of Allah." Abu Isa said : This is the hadith of Hasan Sahih Gharib. We do not know this except from the hadith of Malik bin Mighwal.
