Imam Muslim : 4425حَدَّثَنِي زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ وَشُجَاعُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ جَمِيعًا عَنْ ابْنِ عُلَيَّةَ قَالَ زُهَيْرٌ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو حَيَّانَ حَدَّثَنِي يَزِيدُ بْنُ حَيَّانَ قَالَ انْطَلَقْتُ أَنَا وَحُصَيْنُ بْنُ سَبْرَةَ وَعُمَرُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ إِلَى زَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ فَلَمَّا جَلَسْنَا إِلَيْهِ قَالَ لَهُ حُصَيْنٌ لَقَدْ لَقِيتَ يَا زَيْدُ خَيْرًا كَثِيرًا رَأَيْتَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَسَمِعْتَ حَدِيثَهُ وَغَزَوْتَ مَعَهُ وَصَلَّيْتَ خَلْفَهُ لَقَدْ لَقِيتَ يَا زَيْدُ خَيْرًا كَثِيرًا حَدِّثْنَا يَا زَيْدُ مَا سَمِعْتَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ يَا ابْنَ أَخِي وَاللَّهِ لَقَدْ كَبِرَتْ سِنِّي وَقَدُمَ عَهْدِي وَنَسِيتُ بَعْضَ الَّذِي كُنْتُ أَعِي مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَمَا حَدَّثْتُكُمْ فَاقْبَلُوا وَمَا لَا فَلَا تُكَلِّفُونِيهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ قَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمًا فِينَا خَطِيبًا بِمَاءٍ يُدْعَى خُمًّا بَيْنَ مَكَّةَ وَالْمَدِينَةِ فَحَمِدَ اللَّهَ وَأَثْنَى عَلَيْهِ وَوَعَظَ وَذَكَّرَ ثُمَّ قَالَ أَمَّا بَعْدُ أَلَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ فَإِنَّمَا أَنَا بَشَرٌ يُوشِكُ أَنْ يَأْتِيَ رَسُولُ رَبِّي فَأُجِيبَ وَأَنَا تَارِكٌ فِيكُمْ ثَقَلَيْنِ أَوَّلُهُمَا كِتَابُ اللَّهِ فِيهِ الْهُدَى وَالنُّورُ فَخُذُوا بِكِتَابِ اللَّهِ وَاسْتَمْسِكُوا بِهِ فَحَثَّ عَلَى كِتَابِ اللَّهِ وَرَغَّبَ فِيهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ وَأَهْلُ بَيْتِي أُذَكِّرُكُمْ اللَّهَ فِي أَهْلِ بَيْتِي أُذَكِّرُكُمْ اللَّهَ فِي أَهْلِ بَيْتِي أُذَكِّرُكُمْ اللَّهَ فِي أَهْلِ بَيْتِي فَقَالَ لَهُ حُصَيْنٌ وَمَنْ أَهْلُ بَيْتِهِ يَا زَيْدُ أَلَيْسَ نِسَاؤُهُ مِنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ قَالَ نِسَاؤُهُ مِنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ وَلَكِنْ أَهْلُ بَيْتِهِ مَنْ حُرِمَ الصَّدَقَةَ بَعْدَهُ قَالَ وَمَنْ هُمْ قَالَ هُمْ آلُ عَلِيٍّ وَآلُ عَقِيلٍ وَآلُ جَعْفَرٍ وَآلُ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ كُلُّ هَؤُلَاءِ حُرِمَ الصَّدَقَةَ قَالَ نَعَمْ و حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكَّارِ بْنِ الرَّيَّانِ حَدَّثَنَا حَسَّانُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ مَسْرُوقٍ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ حَيَّانَ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَسَاقَ الْحَدِيثَ بِنَحْوِهِ بِمَعْنَى حَدِيثِ زُهَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ ح و حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَخْبَرَنَا جَرِيرٌ كِلَاهُمَا عَنْ أَبِي حَيَّانَ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ نَحْوَ حَدِيثِ إِسْمَعِيلَ وَزَادَ فِي حَدِيثِ جَرِيرٍ كِتَابُ اللَّهِ فِيهِ الْهُدَى وَالنُّورُ مَنْ اسْتَمْسَكَ بِهِ وَأَخَذَ بِهِ كَانَ عَلَى الْهُدَى وَمَنْ أَخْطَأَهُ ضَلَّ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكَّارِ بْنِ الرَّيَّانِ حَدَّثَنَا حَسَّانُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ وَهُوَ ابْنُ مَسْرُوقٍ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ حَيَّانَ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ قَالَ دَخَلْنَا عَلَيْهِ فَقُلْنَا لَهُ لَقَدْ رَأَيْتَ خَيْرًا لَقَدْ صَاحَبْتَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَصَلَّيْتَ خَلْفَهُ وَسَاقَ الْحَدِيثَ بِنَحْوِ حَدِيثِ أَبِي حَيَّانَ غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ أَلَا وَإِنِّي تَارِكٌ فِيكُمْ ثَقَلَيْنِ أَحَدُهُمَا كِتَابُ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ هُوَ حَبْلُ اللَّهِ مَنْ اتَّبَعَهُ كَانَ عَلَى الْهُدَى وَمَنْ تَرَكَهُ كَانَ عَلَى ضَلَالَةٍ وَفِيهِ فَقُلْنَا مَنْ أَهْلُ بَيْتِهِ نِسَاؤُهُ قَالَ لَا وَايْمُ اللَّهِ إِنَّ الْمَرْأَةَ تَكُونُ مَعَ الرَّجُلِ الْعَصْرَ مِنْ الدَّهْرِ ثُمَّ يُطَلِّقُهَا فَتَرْجِعُ إِلَى أَبِيهَا وَقَوْمِهَا أَهْلُ بَيْتِهِ أَصْلُهُ وَعَصَبَتُهُ الَّذِينَ حُرِمُوا الصَّدَقَةَ بَعْدَهُ
Narrated to me [Zuhair bin Harb] and [Syuja' bin Makhlad], both from [Ibnu 'Ulayyah], [Zuhair] said: Narrated to us [Isma'il bin Ibrahim] Narrated to me [Abu Hayyan] Narrated to me [Yazid bin Hayyan], he said: "One day, I went to [Zaid bin Arqam] with Husain bin Sabrah and Umar bin Muslim. After we sat, Husain said to Zaid bin Arqam: O Zaid, you have gained much good. You saw the Messenger of Allah, heard his words, fought alongside him, and prayed with him. You have gained great good. So, O Zaid, tell us what you heard from the Messenger, peace be upon him! Zaid said: O my nephew, by Allah, I am old, and my time is near. I have forgotten some of what I heard from the Messenger, peace be upon him. So accept what I convey, and do not force me to share what I cannot. Then Zaid continued: One day, the Messenger, peace be upon him, stood and spoke at a water place called Khumm, between Mecca and Medina. He praised Allah, gave advice and reminders, and said: Know, O brothers, I am a human like you. Soon, my Lord’s messenger, the angel of death, will come, and I am ready to answer. I leave you two weighty things: First, the Quran, which contains guidance and light. Follow and hold fast to it. He strongly urged and encouraged practicing the Quran. Second, my family. I remind you to follow Allah’s law in treating my family. (He said this three times.) Husain asked Zaid: O Zaid, who are the Prophet’s family? Are not his wives his family? Zaid replied: His wives are his family, but his family here means those forbidden from taking zakat after him. Husain asked: Who are they? Zaid answered: The families of Ali, Aqil, Ja'far, and Abbas. Husain asked: Are they all forbidden from zakat? Zaid replied: Yes. Narrated to us [Muhammad bin Bakkar bin Ar Rayyan] Narrated to us [Hassan], that is Ibnu Ibrahim, from [Sa'id bin Masruq] from [Yazid bin Hayyan] from [Zaid bin Arqam] from the Prophet, peace be upon him, with a similar hadith to Zuhair’s. Narrated to us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] Narrated to us [Muhamad bin Fudhail] Also narrated through another chain, Narrated to us [Ishaq bin Ibrahim] Informed us [Jarir], both from [Abu Hayyan] through this chain, like Ismail’s hadith, and Jarir’s hadith adds: 'That is, Allah’s Book, containing guidance and light. Whoever holds fast to it and learns from it is guided. Whoever deems it wrong is astray.' Narrated to us [Muhammad bin Bakkar bin Ar Rayyan] Narrated to us [Hassan], that is Ibnu Ibrahim, from [Sa'id], that is Ibnu Masruq, from [Yazid bin Hayyan] from [Zaid bin Arqam], he said: We met Zaid bin Arqam and said: 'You have gained much good. You met the Messenger, prayed behind him…' and so on, like Abu Hayyan’s hadith. But he said: The Messenger, peace be upon him, said: 'Know that I leave you two great things. One is the Quran whoever follows its guidance is guided, and whoever abandons it is astray.' It also includes: We asked: Who are his family, not his wives? He replied: No, by Allah, a wife may be with her husband for a time, then be divorced and return to her father and people. His family are his descendants forbidden from taking zakat.
