Malaikat pencabut nyawa akan bertanya: apakah kamu pernah beramal kebaikan?
Imam Bukhari : 3194حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ عَنْ رِبْعِيِّ بْنِ حِرَاشٍ قَالَ قَالَ عُقْبَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو لِحُذَيْفَةَأَلَا تُحَدِّثُنَا مَا سَمِعْتَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنِّي سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ إِنَّ مَعَ الدَّجَّالِ إِذَا خَرَجَ مَاءً وَنَارًا فَأَمَّا الَّذِي يَرَى النَّاسُ أَنَّهَا النَّارُ فَمَاءٌ بَارِدٌ وَأَمَّا الَّذِي يَرَى النَّاسُ أَنَّهُ مَاءٌ بَارِدٌ فَنَارٌ تُحْرِقُ فَمَنْ أَدْرَكَ مِنْكُمْ فَلْيَقَعْ فِي الَّذِي يَرَى أَنَّهَا نَارٌ فَإِنَّهُ عَذْبٌ بَارِدٌ قَالَ حُذَيْفَةُ وَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ إِنَّ رَجُلًا كَانَ فِيمَنْ كَانَ قَبْلَكُمْ أَتَاهُ الْمَلَكُ لِيَقْبِضَ رُوحَهُ فَقِيلَ لَهُ هَلْ عَمِلْتَ مِنْ خَيْرٍ قَالَ مَا أَعْلَمُ قِيلَ لَهُ انْظُرْ قَالَ مَا أَعْلَمُ شَيْئًا غَيْرَ أَنِّي كُنْتُ أُبَايِعُ النَّاسَ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَأُجَازِيهِمْ فَأُنْظِرُ الْمُوسِرَ وَأَتَجَاوَزُ عَنْ الْمُعْسِرِ فَأَدْخَلَهُ اللَّهُ الْجَنَّةَ فَقَالَ وَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ إِنَّ رَجُلًا حَضَرَهُ الْمَوْتُ فَلَمَّا يَئِسَ مِنْ الْحَيَاةِ أَوْصَى أَهْلَهُ إِذَا أَنَا مُتُّ فَاجْمَعُوا لِي حَطَبًا كَثِيرًا وَأَوْقِدُوا فِيهِ نَارًا حَتَّى إِذَا أَكَلَتْ لَحْمِي وَخَلَصَتْ إِلَى عَظْمِي فَامْتُحِشَتْ فَخُذُوهَا فَاطْحَنُوهَا ثُمَّ انْظُرُوا يَوْمًا رَاحًا فَاذْرُوهُ فِي الْيَمِّ فَفَعَلُوا فَجَمَعَهُ اللَّهُ فَقَالَ لَهُ لِمَ فَعَلْتَ ذَلِكَ قَالَ مِنْ خَشْيَتِكَ فَغَفَرَ اللَّهُ لَهُقَالَ عُقْبَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو وَأَنَا سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ ذَاكَ وَكَانَ نَبَّاشًا
Narrated to us [Musa bin Isma'il] narrated to us [Abu 'Awanah] narrated to us ['Abdul Malik] from [Rib'i bin Hirash] said, ['Uqbah bin 'Amru] said to [Hudhaifah], "Will you not tell us what you heard from the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him)?" Hudhaifah said, "Indeed, I heard him say: 'When the Dajjal emerges, he will bring water and fire. What people see as fire is actually cold water, and what people see as cold water is actually burning fire. So whoever among you encounters him should choose what appears to be fire, for it is fresh, cold water.'" Hudhaifah also said, "And I heard him say: 'A man from those before you was visited by an angel to take his soul and was asked, "Have you done any good deed?" He replied, "I don’t know." It was said to him, "Think." He said, "I don’t know anything except that I used to conduct business with people in this world, granting leniency to the wealthy and forgiving the poor." So Allah admitted him to Paradise.' And Hudhaifah said, "And I heard him say: 'A man approached death and, despairing of life, instructed his family: "When I die, gather a large amount of firewood and set it ablaze until it consumes my flesh and reaches my bones, turning them to ash. Then take the ash, and on a windy day, scatter it into the river." They did so, but Allah gathered him and asked, "Why did you do that?" He replied, "Out of fear of You." So Allah forgave him.'" 'Uqbah bin 'Amru said, "And I heard him say that, and it was mentioned that the man was a grave digger.
