Apabila kalian mendengar suara kokok ayam mohonlah kepada Allah karunia-nya karena saat itu ayam itu sedang melihat malaikat
Imam Abu Dawud : 4438حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ عَنْ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَأَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِذَا سَمِعْتُمْ صِيَاحَ الدِّيَكَةِ فَسَلُوا اللَّهَ تَعَالَى مِنْ فَضْلِهِ فَإِنَّهَا رَأَتْ مَلَكًا وَإِذَا سَمِعْتُمْ نَهِيقَ الْحِمَارِ فَتَعَوَّذُوا بِاللَّهِ مِنْ الشَّيْطَانِ فَإِنَّهَا رَأَتْ شَيْطَانًا
Narrated to us [Qutaibah bin Sa'id], he said: narrated to us [Al Laits] from [Ja'far bin Rabi'ah] from [Al A'raj] from [Abu Hurairah], that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: 'When you hear the crowing of a rooster, ask for Allah’s bounty, for it has seen an angel. And when you hear the braying of a donkey, seek refuge in Allah from Satan, for it has seen Satan.''
