Sesungguhnya Allah itu maha indah, menyukai keindahan, tetapi kesombongan adalah menolak kebenaran dan meremehkan manusia
Imam Ahmad : 3600حَدَّثَنَا عَارِمٌ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ الْقَسْمَلِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ جَعْدَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يَدْخُلُ النَّارَ مَنْ كَانَ فِي قَلْبِهِ مِثْقَالُ حَبَّةٍ مِنْ إِيمَانٍ وَلَا يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ مَنْ كَانَ فِي قَلْبِهِ مِثْقَالُ حَبَّةٍ مِنْ كِبْرٍ فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنِّي لَيُعْجِبُنِي أَنْ يَكُونَ ثَوْبِي غَسِيلًا وَرَأْسِي دَهِينًا وَشِرَاكُ نَعْلِي جَدِيدًا وَذَكَرَ أَشْيَاءَ حَتَّى ذَكَرَ عِلَاقَةَ سَوْطِهِ أَفَمِنْ الْكِبْرِ ذَاكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ لَا ذَاكَ الْجَمَالُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ جَمِيلٌ يُحِبُّ الْجَمَالَ وَلَكِنَّ الْكِبْرَ مَنْ سَفِهَ الْحَقَّ وَازْدَرَى النَّاسَ
Narrated to us ['Arim] has told us [Abdul Aziz bin Muslim Al Qasmali] has told us [Sulaiman Al A'masy] from [Habib bin Abu Thabit] from [Yahya bin Ja'dah] from [Abdullah bin Mas'ud] he said : The Prophet peace be upon him said: "The person who has faith as heavy as a mustard seed will not go to hell and will not enter heaven if he has pride as heavy as a mustard seed in his heart." A man asked; O Messenger of Allah, indeed I like it when I am dressed clean, my head is oily and the straps of my sandals are new, he mentioned everything up to mentioning the ties of his whip, is that considered arrogance, O Messenger of Allah? He said: "No, it is beauty, indeed Allah is Most Beautiful, loves beauty, but arrogance is rejecting the truth and belittling humans.
