Allah pada hakikatnya yang mencabut nyawa setiap makhluk, bukan malaikat, melainkan atas perintah-nya
Imam Abu Dawud : 4255حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ بْنِ سُفْيَانَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي ضَمْضَمُ بْنُ جَوْسٍ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَسَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ كَانَ رَجُلَانِ فِي بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ مُتَوَاخِيَيْنِ فَكَانَ أَحَدُهُمَا يُذْنِبُ وَالْآخَرُ مُجْتَهِدٌ فِي الْعِبَادَةِ فَكَانَ لَا يَزَالُ الْمُجْتَهِدُ يَرَى الْآخَرَ عَلَى الذَّنْبِ فَيَقُولُ أَقْصِرْ فَوَجَدَهُ يَوْمًا عَلَى ذَنْبٍ فَقَالَ لَهُ أَقْصِرْ فَقَالَ خَلِّنِي وَرَبِّي أَبُعِثْتَ عَلَيَّ رَقِيبًا فَقَالَ وَاللَّهِ لَا يَغْفِرُ اللَّهُ لَكَ أَوْ لَا يُدْخِلُكَ اللَّهُ الْجَنَّةَ فَقَبَضَ أَرْوَاحَهُمَا فَاجْتَمَعَا عِنْدَ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ فَقَالَ لِهَذَا الْمُجْتَهِدِ أَكُنْتَ بِي عَالِمًا أَوْ كُنْتَ عَلَى مَا فِي يَدِي قَادِرًا وَقَالَ لِلْمُذْنِبِ اذْهَبْ فَادْخُلْ الْجَنَّةَ بِرَحْمَتِي وَقَالَ لِلْآخَرِ اذْهَبُوا بِهِ إِلَى النَّارِقَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَتَكَلَّمَ بِكَلِمَةٍ أَوْبَقَتْ دُنْيَاهُ وَآخِرَتَهُ
Narrated to us [Muhammad bin Ash Shabbah bin Sufyan], he said: informed us [Ali bin Tsabit] from [Ikrimah bin Ammar], he said: narrated to me [Dhamdham bin Jaus], he said: [Abu Hurairah] said: 'I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: There were two men from Bani Isra’il who were brothers one of them was prone to sinning, while the other was diligent in worship. The one diligent in worship always saw his brother sinning and said to him: 'Stop.' Then one day he found his brother sinning again and said: 'Stop.' The sinner said: 'Leave me to my Lord have you been sent to watch over me?' The worshiper said: 'By Allah, surely Allah will not forgive you, or He will not admit you to paradise.' Allah then took their souls, and they were gathered before the Lord of the worlds. Allah then asked the worshiper: 'Did you know better than Me? Or were you able to control what is in My power?' Allah then said to the sinner: 'Go and enter paradise by My mercy.' And He said to the worshiper: 'Go to the Fire.' Abu Hurairah said: 'By the One in whose hand is my soul, indeed he uttered a statement that destroyed his worldly life and his hereafter.'"
