أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا الْفُضَيْلُ بْنُ عِيَاضٍ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ عَنْ طَاوُسٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الطَّوَافُ بِالْبَيْتِ صَلَاةٌ إِلَّا أَنَّ اللَّهَ أَحَلَّ فِيهِ الْمَنْطِقَ فَمَنْ نَطَقَ فِيهِ فَلَا يَنْطِقْ إِلَّا بِخَيْرٍ أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مَعْبَدٍ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ أَعْيَنَ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ عَنْ طَاوُسٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَحْوَهُ
Narrated to us [Al Humaidi] Narrated to us [Al Fudhail bin 'Iyadh] from ['Atha` bin As Sa`ib] from [Thawus] from [Ibn Abbas], he said:The messenger of AllahPeace be upon him said: "Tawaf around the Kaaba is prayer, only Allah permits speaking while doing it, whoever speaks while performing tawaf, then let him not speak except what is good." Narrated to us [Ali bin Ma'bad] from [Musa bin A'yan] from [Atha` bin As Sa`ib] from [Thawus] from [Ibn Abbas] from the Prophet Peace be upon him as in the above hadith.
