Orang munafik berada di neraka paling bawah
Imam Bukhari : 4236حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ عَنْ الْأَسْوَدِ قَالَكُنَّا فِي حَلْقَةِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ فَجَاءَ حُذَيْفَةُ حَتَّى قَامَ عَلَيْنَا فَسَلَّمَ ثُمَّ قَالَ لَقَدْ أُنْزِلَ النِّفَاقُ عَلَى قَوْمٍ خَيْرٍ مِنْكُمْ قَالَ الْأَسْوَدُ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَقُولُ{ إِنَّ الْمُنَافِقِينَ فِي اَلدَّرْكِ الْأَسْفَلِ مِنْ النَّارِ }فَتَبَسَّمَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ وَجَلَسَ حُذَيْفَةُ فِي نَاحِيَةِ الْمَسْجِدِ فَقَامَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ فَتَفَرَّقَ أَصْحَابُهُ فَرَمَانِي بِالْحَصَا فَأَتَيْتُهُ فَقَالَ حُذَيْفَةُ عَجِبْتُ مِنْ ضَحِكِهِ وَقَدْ عَرَفَ مَا قُلْتُ لَقَدْ أُنْزِلَ النِّفَاقُ عَلَى قَوْمٍ كَانُوا خَيْرًا مِنْكُمْ ثُمَّ تَابُوا فَتَابَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ
"'Umar bin Hafsh narrated to us, my father narrated to us, Al-A'mash narrated to us, he said: Ibrahim narrated to me from Al-Aswad, he said: We were in the circle of 'Abdullah when Hudhaifah came, stood over us, greeted us, and said: 'Hypocrisy was revealed upon a people better than you.' Al-Aswad said: 'Glory be to Allah, Allah says: Indeed, the hypocrites will be in the lowest depths of the Fire...' (An-Nisa: 145). 'Abdullah smiled, and Hudhaifah sat in a corner of the mosque. 'Abdullah stood up, his companions dispersed, and he threw pebbles at me. I went to him, and Hudhaifah said: 'I was surprised at his laughter he knew what I meant. Hypocrisy was revealed upon a people better than you, then they repented, and Allah accepted their repentance.'
