Rasulullah bersabda: Barang siapa menipu kami, maka ia bukan golongan kami
Imam Tirmidzi : 1236حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَعِيلُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَأَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَرَّ عَلَى صُبْرَةٍ مِنْ طَعَامٍ فَأَدْخَلَ يَدَهُ فِيهَا فَنَالَتْ أَصَابِعُهُ بَلَلًا فَقَالَ يَا صَاحِبَ الطَّعَامِ مَا هَذَا قَالَ أَصَابَتْهُ السَّمَاءُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ أَفَلَا جَعَلْتَهُ فَوْقَ الطَّعَامِ حَتَّى يَرَاهُ النَّاسُ ثُمَّ قَالَ مَنْ غَشَّ فَلَيْسَ مِنَّاقَالَ وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ وَأَبِي الْحَمْرَاءِ وَابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ وَبُرَيْدَةَ وَأَبِي بُرْدَةَ بْنِ نِيَارٍ وَحُذَيْفَةَ بْنِ الْيَمَانِ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى حَدِيثُ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ وَالْعَمَلُ عَلَى هَذَا عِنْدَ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ كَرِهُوا الْغِشَّ وَقَالُوا الْغِشُّ حَرَامٌ
Narrated to us [Ali bin Hujr], informed us [Isma'il bin Ja'far] from [Al 'Ala bin Abdurrahman] from [his father] from [Abu Hurairah] that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, passed by a pile of food, inserted his hand into it, and his fingers touched something wet, so he said: O owner of the food, what is this?" He answered: It was rained on, O Messenger of Allah. He said: "Why not place it on top of the food so people can see it?" Then he said: "Whoever cheats is not of us." He said: In this matter, there is a similar hadith from Umar, Abu Al Hamra, Ibnu Abbas, Abu Burdah bin Niyar, and Hudzaifah bin Al Yaman. Abu Isa said: The hadith of Abu Hurairah is hasan sahih and is acted upon according to the scholars they disliked cheating, saying: Cheating is haram."
