حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَوْنٍ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُرَّةَ عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يَحِلُّ دَمُ رَجُلٍ مُسْلِمٍ يَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَأَنِّي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ إِلَّا بِإِحْدَى ثَلَاثٍ الثَّيِّبُ الزَّانِي وَالنَّفْسُ بِالنَّفْسِ وَالتَّارِكُ لِدِينِهِ الْمُفَارِقُ لِلْجَمَاعَةِ

Narrated to us [Amru bin Aun], he said, informed us [Abu Mu'awiyah] from [Al A'masy] from [Abdullah bin Murrah] from [Masruq] from [Abdullah], he said, "The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: 'The blood of a Muslim who testifies there is no deity worthy of worship but Allah and I am His Messenger is not lawful except for one of three reasons: an adulterer who is married, killing a soul (retribution), or apostatizing from Islam, separating from the Muslim community.'"
