Orang yang berjaga di perbatasan (ribat) di jalan Allah lebih baik dari dunia dan isinya
Imam Muslim : 3537حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ بَهْرَامٍ الدَّارِمِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَعْدٍ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ بْنِ مُوسَى عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ عَنْ شُرَحْبِيلَ بْنِ السِّمْطِ عَنْ سَلْمَانَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ رِبَاطُ يَوْمٍ وَلَيْلَةٍ خَيْرٌ مِنْ صِيَامِ شَهْرٍ وَقِيَامِهِ وَإِنْ مَاتَ جَرَى عَلَيْهِ عَمَلُهُ الَّذِي كَانَ يَعْمَلُهُ وَأُجْرِيَ عَلَيْهِ رِزْقُهُ وَأَمِنَ الْفَتَّانَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الطَّاهِرِ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ شُرَيْحٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ شُرَحْبِيلَ بْنِ السِّمْطِ عَنْ سَلْمَانَ الْخَيْرِ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمَعْنَى حَدِيثِ اللَّيْثِ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ بْنِ مُوسَى
Narrated to us [Abdullah bin Abdurrahman bin Bahram Ad Darimi] narrated to us [Abu Al Walid At Thayalisi] narrated to us [Laits] -namely Ibnu Sa'd- from [Ayyub bin Musa] from [Makhul] from [Syurahbil bin As Simth] from [Salman] he said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, say: "Guarding (at the border) for a day and a night is better than fasting and night prayer for a full month, if he dies then his deeds continue to flow as what he used to do, his sustenance flows and he is free from trials." Narrated to us [Abu At Thahir] informed us [Ibnu Wahb] from [Abdurrahman bin Syuraih] from [Abdul Karim bin Al Harits] from [Abu 'Ubaidah bin 'Uqbah] from [Syurahbil bin As Simth] from [Salman Al Khair] from the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, similar in meaning to the hadith of Laits from Ayyub bin Musa.
