Narrated to us [Hafsh bin Umar], he said: narrated to us [Syu'bah]. (In another chain) Narrated to us [Muhammad bin Al Husain], he said: narrated to us [Ali bin Hafsh], he said: narrated to us [Syu'bah] from [Khubaib bin 'Abdurrahman] from [Hafsh bin Ashim]—Husain said in his hadith—from [Abu Hurairah], that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: 'It is enough sin for a person to narrate everything he hears.' Abu Dawud said: 'Hafsh did not mention the name of Abu Hurairah.' Abu Dawud said: 'And he did not attribute it except to this Sheikh, namely Ali bin Hafsh Al Mada`ini.'
