Meminyaki pakaian dengan Za'faran paling dicintai Rasulullah
Imam Ahmad : 5459حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عِيسَى حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَصْبُغُ ثِيَابَهُ وَيَدَّهِنُ بِالزَّعْفَرَانِ فَقِيلَ لَهُ لِمَ تَصْبُغُ ثِيَابَكَ وَتَدَّهِنُ بِالزَّعْفَرَانِ قَالَ لِأَنِّي رَأَيْتُهُ أَحَبَّ الْأَصْبَاغِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَدَّهِنُ بِهِ وَيَصْبُغُ بِهِ ثِيَابَهُ
Narrated to us [Ishaq bin 'Isa] Narrated to us [Abdullah bin Zaid bin Aslam] from [his father], from [Ibn Umar], once he dyed his clothes and anointed them with Za'faran. He was asked, "why do you dye your clothes and anoint them with za'faran?" Ibnu Umar answered, "Because I saw that Rasulullah peace and blessings be upon him loved him most. That was the oil he often used to anoint and dye his clothes.
