Imam Tirmidzi : 2725حَدَّثَنَا الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ دِينَارٍ الْكُوفِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا مُصْعَبُ بْنُ الْمِقْدَامِ عَنْ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ صَالِحٍ عَنْ لَيْثِ بْنِ أَبِي سُلَيْمٍ عَنْ طَاوُسٍ عَنْ جَابِرٍأَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ فَلَا يَدْخُلْ الْحَمَّامَ بِغَيْرِ إِزَارٍ وَمَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ فَلَا يُدْخِلْ حَلِيلَتَهُ الْحَمَّامَ وَمَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ فَلَا يَجْلِسْ عَلَى مَائِدَةٍ يُدَارُ عَلَيْهَا بِالْخَمْرِقَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ لَا نَعْرِفُهُ مِنْ حَدِيثِ طَاوُوسٍ عَنْ جَابِرٍ إِلَّا مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ قَالَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَعِيلَ لَيْثُ بْنُ أَبِي سُلَيْمٍ صَدُوقٌ وَرُبَّمَا يَهِمُ فِي الشَّيْءِ قَالَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَعِيلَ وَقَالَ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ لَيْثٌ لَا يُفْرَحُ بِحَدِيثِهِ كَانَ لَيْثٌ يَرْفَعُ أَشْيَاءَ لَا يَرْفَعُهَا غَيْرُهُ فَلِذَلِكَ ضَعَّفُوهُ
Narrated to us [Al Qasim bin Dinar Al Kufi] has told us [Mush'ab bin Al Miqdam] from [Al Hasan bin Salih] from [Laits bin Abu Sulaim] from [Thawus] from [Jabir] that the Prophet peace be upon him said: "Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, do not enter the bathroom naked, whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, do not put his wife in the bath (general), and whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, do not sit near a table on which wine is being distributed." Abu Isa said : This hadith is Hasan Gharib, we do not know this hadith from Thawus from Jabir except from this route. Muhammad bin Isma`il said : Laits bin Abu Sulaim was shuduq (honest in narrating the hadith), even though some of his narrations were wahm (flawed). Muhammad bin Isma`il said : Ahmad bin Hanbal said : "Laits' hadith cannot be relied on, because Laits often recites hadiths that are not narrated by other narrators, therefore they weaken them."
