Wahai sekalian manusian, ucapkanlah, LAA ILAAHA ILLALLAH, niscaya kalian akan selamat
Imam Ahmad : 18234حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَبِي الْعَبَّاسِ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي رَجُلٌ يُقَالُ لَهُ رَبِيعَةُ بْنُ عَبَّادٍ مِنْ بَنِي الدِّيلِ وَكَانَ جَاهِلِيًّا قَالَ رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ فِي سُوقِ ذِي الْمَجَازِ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ قُولُوا لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ تُفْلِحُوا وَالنَّاسُ مُجْتَمِعُونَ عَلَيْهِ وَوَرَاءَهُ رَجُلٌ وَضِيءُ الْوَجْهِ أَحْوَلُ ذُو غَدِيرَتَيْنِ يَقُولُ إِنَّهُ صَابِئٌ كَاذِبٌ يَتْبَعُهُ حَيْثُ ذَهَبَ فَسَأَلْتُ عَنْهُ فَذَكَرُوا لِي نَسَبَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَقَالُوا لِي هَذَا عَمُّهُ أَبُو لَهَبٍ حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ عَبَّادٍ الدُّؤَلِيِّ وَكَانَ جَاهِلِيًّا فَأَسْلَمَ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ قَالَ فَقُلْتُ مَنْ هَذَا قَالَ هَذَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ وَهُوَ يَذْكُرُ النُّبُوَّةَ قُلْتُ مَنْ هَذَا الَّذِي يُكَذِّبُهُ قَالُوا هَذَا عَمُّهُ أَبُو لَهَبٍ قَالَ أَبُو الزِّنَادِ فَقُلْتُ لِرَبِيعَةَ بْنِ عَبَّادٍ إِنَّكَ يَوْمَئِذٍ كُنْتَ صَغِيرًا قَالَ لَا وَاللَّهِ إِنِّي يَوْمَئِذٍ لَأَعْقِلُ أَنِّي لَأَزْفِرُ الْقِرْبَةَ يَعْنِي أَحْمِلُهَا
Narrated to us [Ibrahim bin Abul Abbas] Narrated to us [Abdurrahman bin Abuz Zinad] from [his father] he said, has informed me a man who is usually called [Rabi'ah bin Abbad] from Bani Ad Dil and he is a person who had experienced the time of Jahiliyah (the age of ignorance), he said: While still in Jahiliyah, I once saw the Prophet Peace be upon him in the Dzul Majaz market. At that time, he said: "O all mankind, say, 'LAA ILAAHA ILLALLAH (There is no god but Allah), surely you will be safe." Then people crowded around him, while behind him there was a man who had a handsome face, was cross-eyed and had hair braided in two parts, the man said, "He is a person who is Murtad (an apostate/left the religion of his ancestors) and a liar." That man always followed him wherever he went. Then I asked who that man was, they then mentioned the lineage of the Messenger of Allah Peace be upon him and said, "This man is his uncle, namely Abu Lahab. Narrated to us [Suraij] Narrated to us [Ibnu Abu Zinad] from [his father] from [Rabi'ah bin Abbad Ad Du`ali] he is a person who experienced the time of Jahiliyah and then embraced Islam. He said: I once saw the Messenger of Allah Peace be upon him, then he mentioned the hadith. Rabi'ah said: I asked, "Who is this person?" he answered, "He is Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Abdul Muthalib." He then mentioned about the prophethood. Then I asked again, "Who is the person who always denies him?" they answered, "This person is his uncle, namely Abu Lahab." Abu Zinad said: I said to Rabi'ah bin Abbad, "Verily on that day you were still small." He answered, "No, by Allah. On that day I had reached the age of Aqil Baligh (puberty and maturity). I was truly already able to carry a Qirbah (a leather bag for storing water).
