Hendaklah kalian jujur, sebab jujur menggiring kepada kebaikan, dan kebaikan akan menggiring kepada surga
Imam Abu Dawud : 4337حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ أَخْبَرَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ ح و حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ دَاوُدَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِيَّاكُمْ وَالْكَذِبَ فَإِنَّ الْكَذِبَ يَهْدِي إِلَى الْفُجُورِ وَإِنَّ الْفُجُورَ يَهْدِي إِلَى النَّارِ وَإِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيَكْذِبُ وَيَتَحَرَّى الْكَذِبَ حَتَّى يُكْتَبَ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ كَذَّابًا وَعَلَيْكُمْ بِالصِّدْقِ فَإِنَّ الصِّدْقَ يَهْدِي إِلَى الْبِرِّ وَإِنَّ الْبِرَّ يَهْدِي إِلَى الْجَنَّةِ وَإِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيَصْدُقُ وَيَتَحَرَّى الصِّدْقَ حَتَّى يُكْتَبَ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ صِدِّيقًا
Narrated to us [Abu Bakar bin Abu Syaibah], he said: narrated to us [Waki'], he said: informed us [Al A'masy]. (In another chain) Narrated to us [Musaddad], he said: narrated to us [Abdullah bin Dawud], he said: narrated to us [Al A'masy] from [Abu Wail] from [Abdullah], he said: 'The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Avoid lying, for lying leads to wickedness, and wickedness leads to the Fire. Indeed, if a person lies and persists in lying, he will be recorded with Allah as a liar. And be truthful, for truthfulness leads to goodness, and goodness leads to Paradise. Indeed, if a person is truthful and persists in truthfulness, he will be recorded with Allah as a truthful person."'"'
