Narrated to us [Ibnu Abu Umar], narrated to us [Sufyan], narrated to us [Az Zuhri] from [Salim] from [his father], he said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: 'Envy is not permissible except in two cases: a man whom Allah has given wealth, so he spends it night and day, and a man whom Allah has given the Qur’an, so he recites it at night and day.' Abu Isa said: This is a hasan sahih hadith. It was also narrated from Ibnu Mas'ud and Abu Hurairah from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, similarly.
