Ketergesaan nabi untuk menyalurkan shadaqah
Imam Muslim : 1698حَدَّثَنِي سُوَيْدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنِي حَفْصُ بْنُ مَيْسَرَةَ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنْ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ قَالَ رَجُلٌ لَأَتَصَدَّقَنَّ اللَّيْلَةَ بِصَدَقَةٍ فَخَرَجَ بِصَدَقَتِهِ فَوَضَعَهَا فِي يَدِ زَانِيَةٍ فَأَصْبَحُوا يَتَحَدَّثُونَ تُصُدِّقَ اللَّيْلَةَ عَلَى زَانِيَةٍ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ عَلَى زَانِيَةٍ لَأَتَصَدَّقَنَّ بِصَدَقَةٍ فَخَرَجَ بِصَدَقَتِهِ فَوَضَعَهَا فِي يَدِ غَنِيٍّ فَأَصْبَحُوا يَتَحَدَّثُونَ تُصُدِّقَ عَلَى غَنِيٍّ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ عَلَى غَنِيٍّ لَأَتَصَدَّقَنَّ بِصَدَقَةٍ فَخَرَجَ بِصَدَقَتِهِ فَوَضَعَهَا فِي يَدِ سَارِقٍ فَأَصْبَحُوا يَتَحَدَّثُونَ تُصُدِّقَ عَلَى سَارِقٍ فَقَالَ اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ عَلَى زَانِيَةٍ وَعَلَى غَنِيٍّ وَعَلَى سَارِقٍ فَأُتِيَ فَقِيلَ لَهُ أَمَّا صَدَقَتُكَ فَقَدْ قُبِلَتْ أَمَّا الزَّانِيَةُ فَلَعَلَّهَا تَسْتَعِفُّ بِهَا عَنْ زِنَاهَا وَلَعَلَّ الْغَنِيَّ يَعْتَبِرُ فَيُنْفِقُ مِمَّا أَعْطَاهُ اللَّهُ وَلَعَلَّ السَّارِقَ يَسْتَعِفُّ بِهَا عَنْ سَرِقَتِهِ
Narrated to us by [Suwaid bin Sa'id] has narrated to me [Hafsh bin Maisarah] from [Musa bin Uqbah] from [Abu Zinad] from [Al A'raj] from [Abu Hurairah] from the Prophet (peace be upon him), he said: 'There was a man who said, 'Tonight, I will really give charity.' Then the man went out carrying his charity, and gave it to a prostitute. The next morning, people said that last night there was a prostitute who was given charity. Then the man prayed, 'O Allah, all praise to You who has destined my charity to fall into the hands of a prostitute. I will give charity again.' He went carrying his charity, then gave it to a rich person. The next morning, people talked about it that last night there was someone who gave charity to a rich person. Then the man said, 'O Allah, to You all praise, because You have made my charity fall into the hands of a rich person, I will give charity again.' Then he went again carrying his charity and gave it to a thief. The next morning, people talked about it, that last night there was someone who gave charity to a thief. The man who gave charity said, 'All praise to Allah who has destined my charity to fall on a prostitute, to a rich person, and to a thief.' Then the man was visited by an angel saying, 'Your charity has been accepted by Allah. As for your charity that fell into the hands of a prostitute, hopefully she stops from prostitution, that fell to a rich person hopefully he realizes himself and gives charity too, while that fell to the thief, hopefully he stops stealing.'
