Yang dimaksud Nabi dengan panjang lengan adalah yang paling gemar bershadaqah
Imam Bukhari : 1331بَاب حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ فِرَاسٍ عَنْ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَاأَنَّ بَعْضَ أَزْوَاجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قُلْنَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَيُّنَا أَسْرَعُ بِكَ لُحُوقًا قَالَ أَطْوَلُكُنَّ يَدًا فَأَخَذُوا قَصَبَةً يَذْرَعُونَهَا فَكَانَتْ سَوْدَةُ أَطْوَلَهُنَّ يَدًا فَعَلِمْنَا بَعْدُ أَنَّمَا كَانَتْ طُولَ يَدِهَا الصَّدَقَةُ وَكَانَتْ أَسْرَعَنَا لُحُوقًا بِهِ وَكَانَتْ تُحِبُّ الصَّدَقَةَ
Narrated by Musa bin Isma'il, narrated by Abu 'Awanah, from Firas, from As-Sha'bi, from Masruq, from 'Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her): Some of the wives of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) Sa'dto him: 'Which of us will be the quickest to join you (after death)?' He said: 'The one with the longest arm among you.' So they took a stick to measure their arms, and Saudah (may Allah be pleased with her) had the longest arm among them. Later, we understood that the length of her arm referred to her generosity in giving charity, and she was the first among us to join him, as she loved giving charity.
