Waktu zakat fitrah dua atau tiga hari sebelum Idul Fitri
Imam Bukhari : 1415حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَفَرَضَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَدَقَةَ الْفِطْرِ أَوْ قَالَ رَمَضَانَ عَلَى الذَّكَرِ وَالْأُنْثَى وَالْحُرِّ وَالْمَمْلُوكِ صَاعًا مِنْ تَمْرٍ أَوْ صَاعًا مِنْ شَعِيرٍ فَعَدَلَ النَّاسُ بِهِ نِصْفَ صَاعٍ مِنْ بُرٍّ فَكَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا يُعْطِي التَّمْرَ فَأَعْوَزَ أَهْلُ الْمَدِينَةِ مِنْ التَّمْرِ فَأَعْطَى شَعِيرًا فَكَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ يُعْطِي عَنْ الصَّغِيرِ وَالْكَبِيرِ حَتَّى إِنْ كَانَ لِيُعْطِي عَنْ بَنِيَّ وَكَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا يُعْطِيهَا الَّذِينَ يَقْبَلُونَهَا وَكَانُوا يُعْطُونَ قَبْلَ الْفِطْرِ بِيَوْمٍ أَوْ يَوْمَيْنِ
Narrated by Abu An-Nu'man, narrated by Hammad bin Zaid, narrated by Ayyub, from Nafi,, from Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with them), he said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) prescribed Zakat al-Fitr, or he Sa'dRamadan, for every male and female, free or slave, as one sa' of dates or one sa' of barley. People then equated it to half a sa' of wheat. Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) used to give dates, but when the people of Medina faced a shortage of dates, they gave barley. Ibn 'Umar would give on behalf of the young and old, even for infants, and he gave it to those entitled to receive it, one or two days before Eid al-Fitr.
