Malam pertengahan Sya’ban: shalat malamnya dan berpuasa siangnya
Imam Tirmidzi : 669حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا بَقِيَ نِصْفٌ مِنْ شَعْبَانَ فَلَا تَصُومُواقَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى حَدِيثُ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ لَا نَعْرِفُهُ إِلَّا مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ عَلَى هَذَا اللَّفْظِ وَمَعْنَى هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ عِنْدَ بَعْضِ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ أَنْ يَكُونَ الرَّجُلُ مُفْطِرًا فَإِذَا بَقِيَ مِنْ شَعْبَانَ شَيْءٌ أَخَذَ فِي الصَّوْمِ لِحَالِ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ وَقَدْ رُوِيَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا يُشْبِهُ قَوْلَهُمْ حَيْثُ قَالَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا تَقَدَّمُوا شَهْرَ رَمَضَانَ بِصِيَامٍ إِلَّا أَنْ يُوَافِقَ ذَلِكَ صَوْمًا كَانَ يَصُومُهُ أَحَدُكُمْ وَقَدْ دَلَّ فِي هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ أَنَّمَا الْكَرَاهِيَةُ عَلَى مَنْ يَتَعَمَّدُ الصِّيَامَ لِحَالِ رَمَضَانَ
Narrated to us [Qutaibah] narrated to us ['Abdul 'Aziz bin Muhammad] from [Al 'Ala' bin Abdurrahman] from [his father] from [Abu Hurairah] he said, the Messenger of Allah peace and blessings be upon him said: 'When the middle of the month of Sha'ban has entered, then do not fast.' Abu 'Isa said, the hadith of Abu Hurairah is a hasan sahih hadith, we do not know it except through this chain with the wording as above. The meaning of the above hadith according to some scholars is if someone is not accustomed to fasting then when entering the middle of the month of Sha'ban he starts fasting because (welcoming) the month of Ramadan. It has been narrated from Abu Hurairah from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him like the meaning explained by them, that he peace and blessings be upon him said: 'Do not fast a few days before the month of Ramadan except if it coincides with the fasting day that you usually do.' This hadith indicates the prohibition for people who deliberately fast before the arrival of Ramadan fasting."
