حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ دَاوُدَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ حُيَيِّ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْحُبُلِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ الصِّيَامُ وَالْقُرْآنُ يَشْفَعَانِ لِلْعَبْدِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يَقُولُ الصِّيَامُ أَيْ رَبِّ مَنَعْتُهُ الطَّعَامَ وَالشَّهَوَاتِ بِالنَّهَارِ فَشَفِّعْنِي فِيهِ وَيَقُولُ الْقُرْآنُ مَنَعْتُهُ النَّوْمَ بِاللَّيْلِ فَشَفِّعْنِي فِيهِ قَالَ فَيُشَفَّعَانِ
Nos foi contado [Musa bin Dawud], que nos foi contado [Ibn Lahi'ah], de [Huyai bin Abdullah], de [Abu Abdurrahman Al Hubuli], de [Abdullah bin 'Amru], que o Mensageiro de Allah (que a paz e as bênçãos de Allah estejam sobre ele) disse: "O jejum e o Alcorão intercederão posteriormente, no Dia da Ressurreição, por um servo. O jejum diz: 'Ó Senhor, eu o privei da comida e da luxúria durante o dia, então permita-me interceder por ele.' E o Alcorão diz: 'Eu o privei de dormir à noite, então permita-me interceder por ele.' Ele continuou suas palavras: 'Então ambos (o jejum e o Alcorão) finalmente intercederam por ele.'"
