حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعَلَّى بْنُ أَسَدٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّمَا أَنَا بَشَرٌ فَأَيُّ الْمُسْلِمِينَ لَعَنْتُهُ أَوْ شَتَمْتُهُ أَوْ جَلَدْتُهُ فَاجْعَلْهَا لَهُ صَلَاةً وَرَحْمَةً وَقُرْبَةً تُقَرِّبُهُ بِهَا إِلَيْكَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ عَنْ جَابِرٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَهُ إِلَّا أَنَّ فِيهِ زَكَاةً وَرَحْمَةً
Narrated to us [Mu'alla bin Asad] Narrated to us [Abdul Wahid bin Ziyad] Narrated to us [Al A'masy] from [Abu Salih] from [Abu Hurairah] he said:The messenger of AllahPeace be upon him said: "O Allah, indeed I am an ordinary human being. Therefore, anyone from the Muslims whom I have cursed, blamed, or suffered, let it be a shalawat (prayer), mercy and worship that can bring them closer to You on the Day of Judgment." Narrated to us [Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Numair] from [his father] from [Al A'masy] from [Abu Sufyan] from [Jabir] from the Prophet Peace be upon him like that hadith, only it contains the words zakat and mercy.
