Narrated to us Muhammad bin Ubaid bin Maimun, informed us Isa bin Yunus from Hisham from his father from Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her), she said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) heard a man reciting the Qur'an in the mosque and Sa'd 'May Allah have mercy on him, for he has reminded me of such-and-such verses that I had forgotten from such-and-such a surah.' And Abbad bin Abdullah added from Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her): The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed tahajjud prayer in my house and heard the voice of Abbad praying in the mosque and Sa'd 'O Aishah, is this Abbad?s voice?' I Sa'd 'Yes.' He Sa'd 'O Allah, have mercy on Abbad.'
