Imam Abu Dawud : 4426حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَظِيمِ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو عَنْ عَبْدِ الْجَلِيلِ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ لِأَبِيهِ يَا أَبَتِ إِنِّي أَسْمَعُكَ تَدْعُو كُلَّ غَدَاةٍ اللَّهُمَّ عَافِنِي فِي بَدَنِي اللَّهُمَّ عَافِنِي فِي سَمْعِي اللَّهُمَّ عَافِنِي فِي بَصَرِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ تُعِيدُهَا ثَلَاثًا حِينَ تُصْبِحُ وَثَلَاثًا حِينَ تُمْسِي فَقَالَ إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَدْعُو بِهِنَّ فَأَنَا أُحِبُّ أَنْ أَسْتَنَّ بِسُنَّتِهِ قَالَ عَبَّاسٌ فِيهِ وَتَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ الْكُفْرِ وَالْفَقْرِ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ تُعِيدُهَا ثَلَاثًا حِينَ تُصْبِحُ وَثَلَاثًا حِينَ تُمْسِي فَتَدْعُو بِهِنَّ فَأُحِبُّ أَنْ أَسْتَنَّ بِسُنَّتِهِ قَالَ وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دَعَوَاتُ الْمَكْرُوبِ اللَّهُمَّ رَحْمَتَكَ أَرْجُو فَلَا تَكِلْنِي إِلَى نَفْسِي طَرْفَةَ عَيْنٍ وَأَصْلِحْ لِي شَأْنِي كُلَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ وَبَعْضُهُمْ يَزِيدُ عَلَى صَاحِبِهِ
Narrated to us [Al Abbas bin Abdul Azhim] and [Muhammad Ibnul Mutsanna], both said: narrated to us [Abdul Malik bin Amru] from [Abdul Jalil bin Athiyah] from [Ja'far bin Maimun], he said: narrated to me ['Abdurrahman bin Abu Bakrah], he said to [his father]: 'O my father, every morning I hear you supplicate: ALLAHUMMA 'AAFINII FII BADANII ALLAHUMMA 'AAFINII FII SAM'II ALLAHUMMA 'AAFINII FII BASHARII LAA ILAAHA ILLA ANTA (O Allah, grant me well-being in my body, grant me well-being in my hearing, grant me well-being in my sight, there is no god but You)," repeating it three times in the morning and evening.' He replied: 'I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, supplicate with it, so I desired to follow his Sunnah.' Abbas said (in his narration) in the hadith: 'And you also say: "ALLAHUMMA INNII A'UUDZU BIKA MINAL KUFRI WAL FAQRI ALLAHUMMA INNII A'UUDZU BIKA MIN 'ADZZBIL QABRI LAA ILAAHA ILLA ANTA (O Allah, I seek refuge in You from disbelief and poverty. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the grave, there is no god but You)," repeating it three times in the morning and evening, then you supplicate with it.' (His father replied:) 'So I desired to follow his Sunnah.' He said: 'The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Some supplications for one afflicted by calamity: 'ALLAHUMMA RAHMATAKA ARJUU FALAA TAKILNII ILAA NAFSII THARFATA 'AININ WA ASHLIH LII SYA`NII KULLAHU LAA ILAAHA ILLA ANTA (O Allah, my Lord, I hope for Your mercy, so do not leave me to myself even for the blink of an eye, and rectify all my affairs, there is no god but You).'" Some narrators added the mentioned supplication.'"
