Bacaan saat shalat iedul fitri dan iedul adha adalah surat qaaf dan al-qamar
Imam Tirmidzi : 491حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَقُ بْنُ مُوسَى الْأَنْصَارِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْنُ بْنُ عِيسَى حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ عَنْ ضَمْرَةَ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الْمَازِنِيِّ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَأَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ سَأَلَ أَبَا وَاقِدٍ اللَّيْثِيَّ مَا كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقْرَأُ بِهِ فِي الْفِطْرِ وَالْأَضْحَى قَالَ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ بِق وَالْقُرْآنِ الْمَجِيدِ وَاقْتَرَبَتْ السَّاعَةُ وَانْشَقَّ الْقَمَرُقَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادٌ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ ضَمْرَةَ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ نَحْوَهُ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى وَأَبُو وَاقِدٍ اللَّيْثِيُّ اسْمُهُ الْحَارِثُ بْنُ عَوْفٍ
Ni s-a povestit [Ishaq bin Musa Al Ansari] ne-a povestit [Ma'an bin Isa] ne-a povestit [Malik bin Anas] din [Dlamrah bin Sa'id Al Mazini] din ['Ubaidillah bin Abdullah bin 'Utbah] că Umar bin Al Khaththab l-a întrebat pe [Abu Laseit] al lui Allah Al Shallahu Waqid wa sallam a citit scrisoarea în timpul rugăciunii - Eid al-Fitr și Eid al-Adha? El a răspuns, a citit QAAF WAL QUR'ANIL MAJIID și IQTARABITIS SAA'AH WAN SYAQQAL QAMAR. Abu Isa a spus: acesta este un hadith hasan sahih, ni s-a spus că [Hannad] ni l-a spus [Sufyan bin 'Uyainah] de la [Dlamrah bin Sa'id] cu un isnad ca acesta, Abu Isa a spus: Numele lui Abu Waqid Al Laitsi este Al Harith bin 'Auf.
