Rasulullah pernah shalat witir lima rakaat dan beliau tidak duduk (tasyahud) kecuali pada rakaat terakhir
Imam Nasa'i : 1698أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَأَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يُوتِرُ بِخَمْسٍ وَلَا يَجْلِسُ إِلَّا فِي آخِرِهِنَّ
Narrated to us [Ishaq bin Mansur] he said :Narrated to us ['Abdurrahman] from [Sufyan] from [Hisyam bin 'Urwah] from [his father] from ['Aisyah], that the Prophet peace be upon him once prayed five rak'ah witr prayers and he did not sit (tasyahud) except for the last rak'ah.
