Imam Nasa'i : 1277أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ مَالِكٍ وَالْحَارِثُ بْنُ مِسْكِينٍ قِرَاءَةً عَلَيْهِ وَأَنَا أَسْمَعُ عَنْ ابْنِ الْقَاسِمِ حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ الزُّرَقِيِّ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو حُمَيْدٍ السَّاعِدِيُّأَنَّهُمْ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ كَيْفَ نُصَلِّي عَلَيْكَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قُولُوا اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَأَزْوَاجِهِ وَذُرِّيَّتِهِ فِي حَدِيثِ الْحَارِثِ كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَبَارِكْ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَأَزْوَاجِهِ وَذُرِّيَّتِهِ قَالَا جَمِيعًا كَمَا بَارَكْتَ عَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌقَالَ أَبُو عَبْد الرَّحْمَنِ أَنْبَأَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ مَرَّتَيْنِ وَلَعَلَّهُ أَنْ يَكُونَ قَدْ سَقَطَ عَلَيْهِ مِنْهُ شَطْرٌ
Narrated to us [Qutaibah bin Sa'id] from [Malik] and [Al Harith bin Miskin] in reading and I heard it from [Ibnul Qasim]Narrated to us [Malik] from ['Abdullah bin Abu Bakr bin Muhammad bin 'Amr bin Hazm] from [his father] from ['Amr bin Sulaim Az Zuraqi] he said : has informed me [Abu Humaid As Sa'idi] that they said : "O Rasulullah Shalallah 'Alaihi Wa Sallam, how do we pray to you?" The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Say, 'O Allah, send down peace upon Muhammad and his wives and his descendants, as You poured out peace upon the family of Ibrahim. O Allah, pour out peace upon Muhammad and his wives and his descendants, as You poured out peace upon the family of Ibrahim. Indeed, You are the Most Praiseworthy, the Most Great.'" Abu Abdurrahman said : 'Qutaibah told me this hadith twice, perhaps there is a part missing from it.'
