Pada dua rakaat yang terakhir membaca surat Al-Fatihah saja
Imam Nasa'i : 967أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقْرَأُ فِي الظُّهْرِ وَالْعَصْرِ فِي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ الْأُولَيَيْنِ بِأُمِّ الْقُرْآنِ وَسُورَتَيْنِ وَفِي الْأُخْرَيَيْنِ بِأُمِّ الْقُرْآنِ وَكَانَ يُسْمِعُنَا الْآيَةَ أَحْيَانًا وَكَانَ يُطِيلُ أَوَّلَ رَكْعَةٍ مِنْ صَلَاةِ الظُّهْرِ
Narrated to us [Muhammad bin Al Mutsanna] he said :Narrated to us [Abdurrahman bin Mahdi] he said :Narrated to us [Aban bin Yazid] from [Yahya bin Abu Kathir] from [Abdullah bin Abu Qatadah] from [his father] he said : "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu'alaihi wasallam read during the Zhuhur and Asr (congregational) prayers, in the first two rak'ahs he read the Ummul Qur'an (Fatihah) and two surahs, while in the last two rak'ahs he only read the Ummul Qur'an (Fatihah). Sometimes he listened to verses to us, and he sallallallahu'alaihi wasallam extended the first rak'ah in the Zhuhur prayer."
