Imam Abu Dawud : 157حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ وَأَيُّوبُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الرَّقِّيُّ وَعَمْرُو بْنُ عُثْمَانَ الْحِمْصِيُّ الْمَعْنَى قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ أَخْبَرَنَا هِلَالُ بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ الْجُهَنِيُّ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ اللَّيْثِيِّ قَالَ هِلَالٌ لَا أَعْلَمُهُ إِلَّا عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ وَقَالَ أَيُّوبُ وَعَمْرٌو أُرَاهُ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍأَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَرَّ بِغُلَامٍ وَهُوَ يَسْلُخُ شَاةً فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَنَحَّ حَتَّى أُرِيَكَ فَأَدْخَلَ يَدَهُ بَيْنَ الْجِلْدِ وَاللَّحْمِ فَدَحَسَ بِهَا حَتَّى تَوَارَتْ إِلَى الْإِبِطِ ثُمَّ مَضَى فَصَلَّى لِلنَّاسِ وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْقَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد زَادَ عَمْرٌو فِي حَدِيثِهِ يَعْنِي لَمْ يَمَسَّ مَاءً وَقَالَ عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ الرَّمْلِيِّ قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد وَرَوَاهُ عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ وَأَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنْ هِلَالٍ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مُرْسَلًا لَمْ يَذْكُرْ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ
Narrated to us [Muhammad bin Al-'Ala`], [Ayyub bin Muhammad Ar Raqqi], and [Amru bin Utsman Al Himshi] by meaning, they said: Narrated to us [Marwan bin Mu'awiyah], informed us [Hilal bin Maimun Al-Juhani] from ['Atha` bin Yazid Al-Laitsi], [Hilal] said: I know it only from [Abu Sa'id]. [Ayyub] and [Amru] said: I believe it is from [Abu Sa'id], that the Prophet shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam passed by a boy skinning a goat. The Prophet said to him: Step aside, let me show you. He inserted his hand between the skin and flesh, pressing it until his hand was hidden up to the armpit, then he left and led the people in prayer without performing ablution. Abu Dawud said: Amru added in his narration: He did not touch water. And he said from Hilal bin Maimun Ar-Ramli. Abu Dawud said: It was narrated by [Abdul Wahid bin Ziyad] and [Abu Mu'awiyah] from [Hilal] from ['Atha`] from the Prophet shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam as mursal, without mentioning Abu Sa'id.
