حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَعِيلَ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ إِسْمَعِيلَ عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ بْنِ يُونُسَ عَنْ يُوسُفَ بْنِ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْكَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا خَرَجَ مِنْ الْخَلَاءِ قَالَ غُفْرَانَكَقَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ لَا نَعْرِفُهُ إِلَّا مِنْ حَدِيثِ إِسْرَائِيلَ عَنْ يُوسُفَ بْنِ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ وَأَبُو بُرْدَةَ بْنُ أَبِي مُوسَى اسْمُهُ عَامِرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ الْأَشْعَرِيُّ وَلَا نَعْرِفُ فِي هَذَا الْبَابِ إِلَّا حَدِيثَ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
Narrated to us [Muhammad bin Isma’il], he said: narrated to us [Malik bin Isma’il] from [Isra’il bin Yunus] from [Yusuf bin Abi Burdah] from his father from [‘A’ishah], may Allah be pleased with her: "Whenever the Prophet, may Allah’s peace be upon him, came out of the lavatory he would say: GHUFRAANAK." Abu Isa said: "This hadith is hasan gharib: we know it only through the narration of Isra’il from Yusuf bin Abi Burdah. Abu Burdah bin Abi Musa’s name is ‘Amir bin ‘Abdullah bin Qays Al-Ash’ari. In this chapter we know only the hadith of ‘A’ishah, may Allah be pleased with her, from the Prophet, may Allah’s peace be upon him."
