Apabila air itu mencapai dua qulah maka tidak akan mengandung kotoran
Imam Tirmidzi : 62حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادٌ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَقَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَسَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يُسْأَلُ عَنْ الْمَاءِ يَكُونُ فِي الْفَلَاةِ مِنْ الْأَرْضِ وَمَا يَنُوبُهُ مِنْ السِّبَاعِ وَالدَّوَابِّ قَالَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا كَانَ الْمَاءُ قُلَّتَيْنِ لَمْ يَحْمِلْ الْخَبَثَقَالَ عَبْدَةُ قَالَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَقَ الْقُلَّةُ هِيَ الْجِرَارُ وَالْقُلَّةُ الَّتِي يُسْتَقَى فِيهَا قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى وَهُوَ قَوْلُ الشَّافِعِيِّ وَأَحْمَدَ وَإِسْحَقَ قَالُوا إِذَا كَانَ الْمَاءُ قُلَّتَيْنِ لَمْ يُنَجِّسْهُ شَيْءٌ مَا لَمْ يَتَغَيَّرْ رِيحُهُ أَوْ طَعْمُهُ وَقَالُوا يَكُونُ نَحْوًا مِنْ خَمْسِ قِرَبٍ
Narrated to us [Hannad], he said: narrated to us [‘Abdah] from [Muhammad bin Ishaq] from [Muhammad bin Ja‘far bin Az-Zubayr] from [‘Ubaydullah bin ‘Abdullah bin ‘Umar] from [Ibn ‘Umar]: "I heard the Messenger of Allah, may Allah’s peace be upon him, asked about water in the wilderness frequented by beasts and animals. He replied: ‘When water reaches two qullahs, it carries no filth.’" ‘Abdah said: Muhammad bin Ishaq said: "Qullah is large jars: two qullahs is drinking water." Abu Isa said: "This is the view of Ash-Shafi‘i, Ahmad, and Ishaq: water reaching two qullahs is not rendered impure unless taste, colour, or smell changes—approximately five qirbahs."
