Nabi berkhutbah sejak subuh hingga matahari terbenam, menceritakan apa yang telah terjadi dan yang akan terjadi, dan yang paling tahu di antara kami adalah yang paling hafal
Imam Muslim : 5149و حَدَّثَنِي يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّوْرَقِيُّ وَحَجَّاجُ بْنُ الشَّاعِرِ جَمِيعًا عَنْ أَبِي عَاصِمٍ قَالَ حَجَّاجٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ أَخْبَرَنَا عَزْرَةُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ أَخْبَرَنَا عِلْبَاءُ بْنُ أَحْمَرَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو زَيْدٍ يَعْنِي عَمْرَو بْنَ أَخْطَبَ قَالَ صَلَّى بِنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْفَجْرَ وَصَعِدَ الْمِنْبَرَ فَخَطَبَنَا حَتَّى حَضَرَتْ الظُّهْرُ فَنَزَلَ فَصَلَّى ثُمَّ صَعِدَ الْمِنْبَرَ فَخَطَبَنَا حَتَّى حَضَرَتْ الْعَصْرُ ثُمَّ نَزَلَ فَصَلَّى ثُمَّ صَعِدَ الْمِنْبَرَ فَخَطَبَنَا حَتَّى غَرَبَتْ الشَّمْسُ فَأَخْبَرَنَا بِمَا كَانَ وَبِمَا هُوَ كَائِنٌ فَأَعْلَمُنَا أَحْفَظُنَا
Narrated to me [Ya'qub bin Ibrahim Ad Dauraqi] and [Hajjaj bin Asy Sya'ir], all from [Abu Ashim], Hajjaj said: Narrated to us [Abu Ashim], informed us [Azrah bin Tsabit], informed us [Ilba` bin Ahmar], narrated to me [Abu Zaid Amru bin Akhthab], who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, prayed Fajr with us, ascended the pulpit, and preached until Dhuhr time. He descended, then ascended the pulpit and preached until Asr time. He descended, prayed, then ascended the pulpit and preached until sunset, informing us of what has happened and what will happen. The most knowledgeable among us is the one who memorized the most.
