Aku adalah orang yang paling mengetahui fitnah... di antaranya ada tiga macam yang laksana angin di musim panas
Imam Muslim : 5146حَدَّثَنِي حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى التُّجِيبِيُّ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ أَنَّ أَبَا إِدْرِيسَ الْخَوْلَانِيَّ كَانَ يَقُولُا قَالَ حُذَيْفَةُ بْنُ الْيَمَانِ وَاللَّهِ إِنِّي لَأَعْلَمُ النَّاسِ بِكُلِّ فِتْنَةٍ هِيَ كَائِنَةٌ فِيمَا بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ السَّاعَةِ وَمَا بِي إِلَّا أَنْ يَكُونَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَسَرَّ إِلَيَّ فِي ذَلِكَ شَيْئًا لَمْ يُحَدِّثْهُ غَيْرِي وَلَكِنْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ وَهُوَ يُحَدِّثُ مَجْلِسًا أَنَا فِيهِ عَنْ الْفِتَنِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يَعُدُّ الْفِتَنَ مِنْهُنَّ ثَلَاثٌ لَا يَكَدْنَ يَذَرْنَ شَيْئًا وَمِنْهُنَّ فِتَنٌ كَرِيَاحِ الصَّيْفِ مِنْهَا صِغَارٌ وَمِنْهَا كِبَارٌ قَالَ حُذَيْفَةُ فَذَهَبَ أُولَئِكَ الرَّهْطُ كُلُّهُمْ غَيْرِي
Narrated to us [Harmalah bin Yahya At Tujibi], informed us [Ibnu Wahb], informed me [Yunus], from [Ibnu Syihab], that [Abu Idris Al Khaulani] said: [Hudzaifah bin Al Yaman] said: By Allah, I am the most knowledgeable about every trial from now until the Hour, because the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, told me something about it privately, not sharing it with others, but he spoke of trials in an assembly where I was present. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, counting the trials, including three that leave almost nothing, some like summer winds, some small, some large. Hudzaifah said: Then they all left except me.
