Nabi menjawab pertanyaan seorang lelaki Juhainah: Allah menyiapkan setiap orang untuk mengerjakan apa yang ia diciptakan untuknya
Imam Muslim : 4790حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْحَنْظَلِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ حَدَّثَنَا عَزْرَةُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عُقَيْلٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ يَعْمَرَ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَسْوَدِ الدِّيلِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ لِي عِمْرَانُ بْنُ الْحُصَيْنِ أَرَأَيْتَ مَا يَعْمَلُ النَّاسُ الْيَوْمَ وَيَكْدَحُونَ فِيهِ أَشَيْءٌ قُضِيَ عَلَيْهِمْ وَمَضَى عَلَيْهِمْ مِنْ قَدَرِ مَا سَبَقَ أَوْ فِيمَا يُسْتَقْبَلُونَ بِهِ مِمَّا أَتَاهُمْ بِهِ نَبِيُّهُمْ وَثَبَتَتْ الْحُجَّةُ عَلَيْهِمْ فَقُلْتُ بَلْ شَيْءٌ قُضِيَ عَلَيْهِمْ وَمَضَى عَلَيْهِمْ قَالَ فَقَالَ أَفَلَا يَكُونُ ظُلْمًا قَالَ فَفَزِعْتُ مِنْ ذَلِكَ فَزَعًا شَدِيدًا وَقُلْتُ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ خَلْقُ اللَّهِ وَمِلْكُ يَدِهِ فَلَا يُسْأَلُ عَمَّا يَفْعَلُ وَهُمْ يُسْأَلُونَ فَقَالَ لِي يَرْحَمُكَ اللَّهُ إِنِّي لَمْ أُرِدْ بِمَا سَأَلْتُكَ إِلَّا لِأَحْزِرَ عَقْلَكَ إِنَّ رَجُلَيْنِ مِنْ مُزَيْنَةَ أَتَيَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَرَأَيْتَ مَا يَعْمَلُ النَّاسُ الْيَوْمَ وَيَكْدَحُونَ فِيهِ أَشَيْءٌ قُضِيَ عَلَيْهِمْ وَمَضَى فِيهِمْ مِنْ قَدَرٍ قَدْ سَبَقَ أَوْ فِيمَا يُسْتَقْبَلُونَ بِهِ مِمَّا أَتَاهُمْ بِهِ نَبِيُّهُمْ وَثَبَتَتْ الْحُجَّةُ عَلَيْهِمْ فَقَالَ لَا بَلْ شَيْءٌ قُضِيَ عَلَيْهِمْ وَمَضَى فِيهِمْ وَتَصْدِيقُ ذَلِكَ فِي كِتَابِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ { وَنَفْسٍ وَمَا سَوَّاهَا فَأَلْهَمَهَا فُجُورَهَا وَتَقْوَاهَا }
Narrated to us by [Ishaq bin Ibrahim Al Hanzhali] Narrated to us by ['Utsman bin 'Umar] Narrated to us by ['Azrah bin Tsabit] from [Yahya bin 'Uqail] from [Yahya bin Ya'mar] from [Abu Al Aswad Ad Daili] who said ' [Imran bin Hushain] once asked me 'Is the behavior and efforts of the Muslims now because of the destiny that has been determined since long ago upon them, or because they know the teachings brought by the prophet (peace be upon him) and there is evidence that will demand them?' I (Abul Aswad) answered 'That is because of the destiny that has been determined since long ago upon them.' lmran bin Hushain asked again 'Isn't that an injustice?.' Abul Aswad answered 'I was very surprised by that question, then I said 'Everything is His creation, Allah will not be asked for accountability for what He does, but humans will surely be asked for accountability.' lmran bin Hushain said to me 'O Abul Aswad, may Allah give you mercy. Actually I did not intend to ask you except to guard your thoughts.' One day there were two men from the Muzainah tribe who came to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and asked 'O Messenger of Allah, in your opinion, is the behavior and efforts of the Muslims now because it is already a decree of destiny that has been determined since long ago or because they practice the teachings brought by their Prophet and they are aware of the evidence that will demand them?' The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) answered: 'That is a decree of destiny that has been determined (by Allah) since long ago which is in accordance with the word of Allah which reads: 'And by the soul and its perfection/creation, then Allah inspires to the soul the path of wickedness and the path of piety.' (Asy-Syamsy (91): 7-8).
