Narrated to us [Sulaiman bin Harb] and [Musaddad] in meaning, both said narrated to us [Hammad] from [Khalid] from [Al Qasim bin Rabi'ah] from [Uqbah bin Aus] from [Abdullah bin Amru] that the Messenger of Allah peace and blessings be upon him -Musaddad mentioned- delivered a sermon on the day of the conquest of Makkah. He said takbir three times then said: 'There is no god but Allah, the One, the True in His promise, and He helps His servant, and He alone defeats the allied enemy groups -up to this sentence I memorized it from Musaddad, then both agreed on the wording- Know that all remnants of the Jahiliyyah period, whether obtained from diyat(ransom) for murder or theft, all of that is under my feet (meaning invalid), except what is produced from the effort to provide drink for the pilgrims and service to the Ka'bah.' Then he said: 'Know that the diyat(ransom) for unintentional murder (resembling intentional), such as hitting with a whip or stick, is one hundred camels, among which are forty that are pregnant.' This hadith of Musaddad is more complete. Narrated to us [Musa bin Isma'il] said, narrated to us [Wuhaib] from [Khalid] with this chain, like the meaning of that hadith. Narrated to us [Musaddad] said, narrated to us [Abdul Warits] from [Ali bin Zaid] from [Al Qasim bin Rabi'ah] from [Ibnu Umar] from the Prophet peace and blessings be upon him with the same meaning. He (the narrator) said, 'On the day of the conquest of Makkah, the Messenger of Allah peace and blessings be upon him delivered a sermon on the steps of a house or the Ka'bah.' Abu Dawud said, 'Like this also [Ibnu Uyainah] narrated from [Ali bin Zaid], from [Al Qasim bin Rabi'ah], from [Ibnu Umar] from the Prophet peace and blessings be upon him.' [Ayyub As Sakhtiyani] also narrated from [Al Qasim bin Rabi'ah], from [Abdullah bin Amru] as the hadith of Khalid, and [Hammad bin Salamah] also narrated it from [Ali bin Zaid] from [Ya'qub As Sadusi], from [Abdullah bin Amru], from the Prophet peace and blessings be upon him. And the words of Zaid and Abu Musa are like the hadith of the Prophet peace and blessings be upon him and the hadith of Umar may Allah be pleased with him.
