Imam Muslim : 4410حَدَّثَنَا مَنْصُورُ بْنُ أَبِي مُزَاحِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَعْدٍ ح و حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ الْحُلْوَانِيُّ وَعَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ قَالَ عَبْدٌ أَخْبَرَنِي و قَالَ حَسَنٌ حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ وَهُوَ ابْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي عَنْ صَالِحٍ عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ أَبَاهُ سَعْدًا قَالَ اسْتَأْذَنَ عُمَرُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَعِنْدَهُ نِسَاءٌ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ يُكَلِّمْنَهُ وَيَسْتَكْثِرْنَهُ عَالِيَةً أَصْوَاتُهُنَّ فَلَمَّا اسْتَأْذَنَ عُمَرُ قُمْنَ يَبْتَدِرْنَ الْحِجَابَ فَأَذِنَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَضْحَكُ فَقَالَ عُمَرُ أَضْحَكَ اللَّهُ سِنَّكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَجِبْتُ مِنْ هَؤُلَاءِ اللَّاتِي كُنَّ عِنْدِي فَلَمَّا سَمِعْنَ صَوْتَكَ ابْتَدَرْنَ الْحِجَابَ قَالَ عُمَرُ فَأَنْتَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَحَقُّ أَنْ يَهَبْنَ ثُمَّ قَالَ عُمَرُ أَيْ عَدُوَّاتِ أَنْفُسِهِنَّ أَتَهَبْنَنِي وَلَا تَهَبْنَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قُلْنَ نَعَمْ أَنْتَ أَغْلَظُ وَأَفَظُّ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ مَا لَقِيَكَ الشَّيْطَانُ قَطُّ سَالِكًا فَجًّا إِلَّا سَلَكَ فَجًّا غَيْرَ فَجِّكَ حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ مَعْرُوفٍ حَدَّثَنَا بِهِ عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ أَخْبَرَنِي سُهَيْلٌ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ جَاءَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَعِنْدَهُ نِسْوَةٌ قَدْ رَفَعْنَ أَصْوَاتَهُنَّ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَلَمَّا اسْتَأْذَنَ عُمَرُ ابْتَدَرْنَ الْحِجَابَ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَ حَدِيثِ الزُّهْرِيِّ
Narrated to us [Manshur bin Abu Muzahim] Narrated to us [Ibrahim], that is Ibnu Sa'ad Also narrated through another chain, Narrated to us [Hasan Al Hulwani] and ['Abad bin Humaid], both said: ['Abad] said: Informed me and [Hasan] said: Narrated to us [Ya'qub], that is Ibnu Ibrahim bin Sa'ad Narrated to us [my father] from [Shalih] from [Ibnu Syihab] Narrated to me ['Abdul Hamid bin 'Abdur Rahman bin Zaid], [Muhammad bin Sa'ad bin Abi Waqqash] narrated to him that his father, [Sa'ad], said: 'Once, Umar bin Khattab asked permission to visit the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, while some Quraysh women were talking with him at length and loudly. When Umar requested entry, the women quickly stood and hid behind the curtain. The Messenger, peace be upon him, allowed Umar to enter, smiling. Umar said: "What makes you smile, O Messenger of Allah?" He replied: "I’m amazed at the women who were with me. When they heard your voice, they hid immediately." Umar said: "You are more deserving of their respect." Then Umar turned to the curtain and said: "O enemies of yourselves, are you shy of me but not of the Messenger?" The Quraysh women replied: "Yes, because you are harsher than the Messenger." The Messenger, peace be upon him, said: "By my soul in His Hand, no devil meets you on a path, O Umar, but turns to another to avoid you." Narrated to us [Harun bin Ma'ruf] Narrated to us ['Abdul 'Aziz bin Muhammad] Informed me [Suhail] from [his father] from [Abu Hurairah] that Umar bin Al Khattab came to the Messenger, peace be upon him, while some Quraysh women were speaking loudly with him. When Umar asked to enter, they hid behind the curtain, as in Az Zuhri’s hadith.
