Imam Bukhari : 7006حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيٌّ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ح و حَدَّثَنِي أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَنْبَسَةُ حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ أَخْبَرَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عُرْوَةَ بْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَاسَأَلَ أُنَاسٌ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ الْكُهَّانِ فَقَالَ إِنَّهُمْ لَيْسُوا بِشَيْءٍ فَقَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ فَإِنَّهُمْ يُحَدِّثُونَ بِالشَّيْءِ يَكُونُ حَقًّا قَالَ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تِلْكَ الْكَلِمَةُ مِنْ الْحَقِّ يَخْطَفُهَا الْجِنِّيُّ فَيُقَرْقِرُهَا فِي أُذُنِ وَلِيِّهِ كَقَرْقَرَةِ الدَّجَاجَةِ فَيَخْلِطُونَ فِيهِ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ مِائَةِ كَذْبَةٍ
Narrated to us Ali, narrated to us Hisham, informed us Ma'mar from Az-Zuhri. (In another chain) narrated to me Ahmad bin Salih, narrated to us Anbasah, narrated to us Yunus from Ibn Shihab, informed me Yahya bin Urwa bin Az-Zubair that he heard Urwa bin Az-Zubair say: Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, said: People asked the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, about soothsayers. He said: 'They are nothing.' They said: 'O Messenger of Allah, they sometimes tell something that comes true.' The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: 'That is a word of truth that the jinn snatches and clucks into the ear of his ally like the clucking of a hen, and they mix in more than a hundred lies.'
