حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي الْأَشْعَثُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ أُمَّةٌ مِنْ الْأُمَمِ فُقِدَتْ فَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ الْفَأْرُ هِيَ أَمْ لَا أَلَا تَرَى أَنَّهَا إِذَا وُضِعَ لَهَا أَلْبَانُ الْإِبِلِ لَمْ تَطْعَمْهُ

Narrated to us [Muhammad bin Abdullah], he said: has narrated to me [Al Ash'ath] from [Muhammad] from [Abu Hurairah], he said: The Prophet peace and blessings be upon him said: "One of several people has disappeared, and Allah knows better whether they are rats or not, have you not seen that when he is given camel's milk he does not eat it.
