حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ الْمَخْزُومِيُّ بِمَكَّةَ حَدَّثَنِي الضَّحَّاكُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ بُكَيْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْأَشَجِّ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ لِمَرْوَانَ أَحْلَلْتَ بَيْعَ الرِّبَا فَقَالَ مَرْوَانُ مَا فَعَلْتُ فَقَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ أَحْلَلْتَ بَيْعَ الصُّكُوكِ وَقَدْ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ بَيْعِ الطَّعَامِ حَتَّى يَسْتَوْفِيَ قَالَ فَخَطَبَ النَّاسَ مَرْوَانُ فَنَهَى عَنْ بَيْعِهَا قَالَ سُلَيْمَانُ فَنَظَرْتُ إِلَى حَرَسِ مَرْوَانَ يَأْخُذُونَهَا مِنْ أَيْدِي النَّاسِ

Narrated to us [Abdullah Ibnul Harits Al Makhzumi] in Makkah, said: has told me [Adh Dhahak] - namely Ibn Uthman - from [Bukair bin Abdullah bin Al Asyaj] from [Sulaiman bin Yasar] from [Abu Hurairah] that he said to Marwan: "Have you justified selling usury?" Marwan said: "I didn't do that." Abu Hurairah said: "But you allow the sale of coupons, even though the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam has prohibited selling food until it is perfect." Solomon said: "Then Marwan preached before the people and forbade them to sell it," Solomon said: "I saw marwan officers taking the coupons from people's hands.
