Imam Ahmad : 7419حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِذَا تَوَضَّأَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَجْعَلْ فِي أَنْفِهِ ثُمَّ لِيَسْتَنْثِرْ وَمَنْ اسْتَجْمَرَ فَلْيُوتِرْ
Narrated to us [Abdurrazzaq] Narrated to us [Malik] from [Abu Az Zinad] from [Al A'raj] from [Abu Hurairah] from the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa Salam, he said: "When one of you performs ablution, let him put water in his nose and then let it out again, and whoever purifies using a stone should use an odd number.
