Rasulullah senang memberi nama Abdullah

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ عَنْ بُرَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى قَالَوُلِدَ لِي غُلَامٌ فَأَتَيْتُ بِهِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَسَمَّاهُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ فَحَنَّكَهُ بِتَمْرَةٍ وَدَعَا لَهُ بِالْبَرَكَةِ وَدَفَعَهُ إِلَيَّ وَكَانَ أَكْبَرَ وَلَدِ أَبِي مُوسَى

"Narrated to us Muhammad bin Al-Ala', narrated to us Abu Usama, from Buraid bin Abdullah bin Abu Burda, from Abu Burda, from Abu Musa, he said: 'I had a newborn son, so I brought him to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and he named him Ibrahim, performed tahnik for him with a date, prayed for his blessing, and returned him to me.' He was the eldest son of Abu Musa.
