Imam Ahmad : 6923حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي إِدْرِيسَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ تَوَضَّأَ فَلْيَنْثُرْ وَمَنْ اسْتَجْمَرَ فَلْيُوتِرْ
Narrated to us [Abdurrahman] Narrated to us [Malik] from [Az Zuhri] from [Abu Idris] from [Abu Hurairah], that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa Salam said: "Whoever performs ablution, let him perform ablution, let him do it with an odd number.
