حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى أَبِي حَدَّثَكَ عَمْرُو بْنُ مُجَمِّعٍ أَخْبَرَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ الْهَجَرِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِذَا أَتَى أَحَدَكُمْ خَادِمُهُ بِطَعَامِهِ فَلْيُدْنِهِ فَلْيُقْعِدْهُ عَلَيْهِ أَوْ لِيُلْقِمْهُ فَإِنَّهُ وَلِيَ حَرَّهُ وَدُخَانَهُ

Abdullah told us he said: I read to my father what I had told you [Amru bin Mujammi'] had told us [Ibrahim Al Hajari] from [Abu Al Ahwash] from [Abdullah bin Mas'ud] from the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, he said: "If the servant of one of you comes bringing food, let him bring it closer and sit it down or so that he enjoys it because he has been exposed to the heat and smoke.
