Imam Ahmad : 2697حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مَالِكٍ عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْأَخْنَسِ عَنْ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي مُغِيثٍ عَنْ يُوسُفَ بْنِ مَاهَكَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ اقْتَبَسَ عِلْمًا مِنْ النُّجُومِ اقْتَبَسَ شُعْبَةً مِنْ سِحْرٍ مَا زَادَ زَادَ وَمَا زَادَ زَادَ
Narrated to us [Rauh] has told us [Abu Malik Ubaidullah bin Al Akhnas] from [Al Walid bin Abdullah bin Abu Mughits] from [Yusuf bin Mahak] from [Ibnu Abbas], he said : Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Whoever learns part of the science of necromancy, then in fact he has studied a branch of magic, the more (his knowledge) the more his (sin) increases, the more (his knowledge) the more (his sin) increases.
