Imam Muslim : 4808حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الطَّاهِرِ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ وَيُونُسُ عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سُئِلَ عَنْ أَوْلَادِ الْمُشْرِكِينَ فَقَالَ اللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا كَانُوا عَامِلِينَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ح و حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ بِهْرَامَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ ح و حَدَّثَنَا سَلَمَةُ بْنُ شَبِيبٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ أَعْيَنَ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْقِلٌ وَهُوَ ابْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ كُلُّهُمْ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ بِإِسْنَادِ يُونُسَ وَابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ مِثْلَ حَدِيثِهِمَا غَيْرَ أَنَّ فِي حَدِيثِ شُعَيْبٍ وَمَعْقِلٍ سُئِلَ عَنْ ذَرَارِيِّ الْمُشْرِكِينَ
Narrated to us by Abu Ath-Thahir, it was informed to us by Ibn Wahb, it was informed to me by Ibn Abu Dhi'b and Yunus from Ibn Shihab from Atha bin Yazid from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about the children of the polytheists? Then he said: 'Allah knows best about what they would do.' Narrated to us by Abd bin Humaid, it was informed to us by Abdurrazzaq, it was informed to us by Mamar, Similarly narrated from other chains, and Narrated to us by Abdullah bin Abdurrahman bin Bihram, it was informed to us by Abul Yaman, it was informed to us by Shuaib, Similarly narrated from other chains, and Narrated to us by Salamah bin Shabib, Narrated to us by Al-Hasan bin A'yan, Narrated to us by Maqil bin Ubaidullah, all from Az-Zuhri with the chain of Yunus and Ibn Abu Dhi'b like the Hadith of both. Except that in the Hadith of Shuaib and Maqil using the wording: 'He was asked about the offspring of the polytheists.'
